Where can I check to see if I'm registered?
Where is the start of the race?
Both the 5K and half marathon start in the Lowe’s parking lot. The half marathon begins at 8:00 AM and the 5K begins at 8:15 AM.
When is packet pickup/registration?

Packet pickup will be available the day before the event Saturday, May 11th at MaxWay Performance (28 Bramber Vly Dr, Greenland, NH 03840) from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Packet pickup will also be available on race morning from 6:00 AM – 7:45 AM at Lowe’s Home Improvement (1440 Greenland Rd, Greenland, NH 03840). Please look for the registration tents in the corner of the parking lot upon arrival on race morning.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes! If someone is picking up your packet, please ensure they have either your confirmation email or a picture of your photo ID (a picture on your phone works great!).
What's the course time limit?

We’ll keep the course open in accordance with a 3:30 hours finish time, or approximately 16 minutes per mile. Due to our permit – walkers or runners that are slower than the 3:30 time will be moved up to finish on time.

Can I run with a stroller?

Yes! We simply ask that you start at the back of the pack for safety reasons and abide by all lane guidance signs and cones.

Can I run with headphones?
Because wearing headphones greatly reduces your ability to hear race marshals and car traffic, our insurance provider requires us to prohibit the wearing of headphones during the race.
Can I run with my dog?

No, dogs are not allowed on the course.

Where are the bathrooms?
Portable toilets will be available at both the start and finish areas as well as on the course at miles 2.5, 5, 7, 9, and 11.
Where are the water stops?
There will be 5 water stops along the half marathon route and 1 water stop on the 5K route. Water stops for the half marathon will be located at miles 2.3, 5, 7, 9, and 11.3. The 5K water stop will be located at mile 1.5.
Will there be changing stations?
There are no changing facilities available, so please show up ready to run.
Is there a gear check?
Yes, gear check will be available at the start of the race near the registration and start line. Please look for the gear check sign and truck upon arrival. To check your gear, simply attach the gear check tear off tag located on your race bib to the gear check bag with a safety pin and hand to the volunteers on-site. The gear check truck will leave promptly at 8:00 AM for the finish line!
Are there awards for top finishers?

The half marathon will award prizes for the top 3 men and women finishers overall, and to the top male and female in the following categories: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

The 5K will award prizes to the top 3 men and women finishers overall, and to the top male and female in the following categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.

All awards will be mailed out to participants after the event within 2-3 business days. There will not be an awards tent or ceremony at the event.

Are the roads closed for the race?
Brief road closures will take place at the start of both the 5K and Half Marathon along Portsmouth Avenue and Newington Road. Southbound and northbound traffic on Newington/McIntyre Road between Newington and Greenland will be closed between 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM as runners clear the streets.
Can I get a refund if I register but don't run?

No refunds under any circumstances, including event cancellation or postponement. We spend all the money we receive from runners on preparing for each event in advance, from buying all the shirts and medals to paying for business operations, including our employees’ salaries. This means that if an event is canceled or postponed because of weather, pandemics, or other forces beyond our control, we won’t be able to provide refunds. In these rare situations, we’ll convert the race to a virtual one and mail you your full race goodie bag.

What about GPS course measurements?

The half marathon course is not currently USATF certified, but will be for race day. Please check back on the race details page periodically where the USATF certification map will be posted once finalized. With that being said, your GPS measurement of the course is bound to be different and will most likely show the distance covered to be “long.” This is normal, and here’s a very technical explanation why: In GPS We Trust.

Is the half marathon USATF certified?

The half marathon course will be USATF certified prior to race day. Please check back to this section periodically before race day to find the official USATF certification map.

Where can spectators park?

Spectators may not park at the finish area or any of the adjacent roads. Please park at Lowe’s near the start and registration. Before the race a free bus shuttle will run from Lowe’s to the Finish. The same shuttle will go from the finish back to Lowe’s after the race. There is no parking available at Mercedes-Benz Of Portsmouth!

Where is the best place for spectators to watch?
Please review the spectator areas on the race details page for complete information on where spectators should anticipate being able to watch the race from.
